12" x 12" Cloth Scrapbook Album by Recollections® is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 85.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All scrapbooks damaged Ordered several online and the plastic protective covers were cracked therefore now it has sharp edges. The inner plastic pages crushed and stained with some clear dust? I'm not sure what the stain is. Terrible shopping experience. I had donated away all these scrapbooks. And I will stick with We R Memory Keepers website and Amazon since they have great packaging to protect the scrapbooks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Extremely Disappointed They changed from the Black Card Stock to White plan paper; which totally bleeds through, leaving the other side worthless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was so disappointed to find out that these books are no longer expandable. I cannot get the screws out to add more pages! I bought this book without checking the reviews, since I have been buying these books for years! I guess I will look for a different product in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only takes 4x6 photos The old pages were better because I could put school pictures and snapshots. These segmented pages do not work! Ugh!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Posts are almost impossible to take apart! As stated in other reviews - the posts are almost impossible to unscrew so you can add more pages! Very frustrating! It took me almost an hour to take apart. Like one of the other reviews, I used various wrenches, screwdrivers, and vise grips to get the posts out. It was still very hard because the ends of the posts without the screw ends are so tight that it is very hard to grip and hold so you can unscrew the other side. Very frustrating!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expandable issue i, too, have used these scrapbooks for years. Never dreamed they would no longer be expandable. Very disappointed. Limiting the number of pages completely negates the advantage of using them for vacations and theme books. Who wants to be limited to just 10 pages.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hack for the "not expandable" problem So, it is true apparently...these things are no longer expandable, much to the angst of my 11 year old daughter who is maniacally determined to finish a scrapbook project as a gift. Basically the screw goes into a rivet with a flat surface and just spins when you try to unscrew. If you can grip the flat side of the rivet and hold it fixed, the screw will come out. Removing the thin and narrow cardboard inserts that are sandwiched with the pages helps (you are going to be adding pages anyhow to take up the space). Grip the flat side with a pair of pliers (I used channelock/groove style)...there isn't enough space to get under, need to grab on opposing edges and hold...and then on other side use a screwdriver to unscrew carefully counter-clockwise (it strips easily -make sure you have the right size screw driver head for the job). It took me an hour to figure out how to do the first one (finding right combination of screws and best approach), and literally less than a minute for the second one. Learn from my lessons lol. Follow the approach I did and should be about 5 minutes to do, just work slow and patiently. Here are a couple pics of the pliers I used, and how to position it (pics show rivet out of binder). Again, you don't have a lot of space...removing the cardboard spacer gives you just enough play to grip the flat edge).Nobody wants to mess with this of course, but if you are in a time crunch to finish something, and can't find a timely alternative, this is possible...good luck!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money These albums have a limited amount of pages, and like other much more expensive albums, do not allow you to add blank pages . I got one and it won't even hold one year's photos of mine. I do take a lot of pictures and scrapbook. I'm used to adding extenders and fitting a good 30 pages (60 back and front) to one album. I'd never purchase one of these again.
